Jennifer joined the Employee Benefits industry and became licensed in Life and Health in 2010, when the need for trusted advisors became increasingly more demanding as the Patient and Protection and Affordable Care Act was signed into law. As Director of Group Benefits, Jennifer is responsible for the client experience through assisting and advising on the analysis, design, implementation and communication of health and wellness portfolios. As a second generation healthcare professional, Jennifer partners industry experience with cutting-edge technology to assist employers in offering comprehensive benefit portfolios, while strategizing cost containment alternatives to ease in administering. Jennifer has also been regarded as a resource for the insurance community by teaching continuing education credits for the Nation Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and leading industry seminars for the Delaware Restaurant Association.
Jennifer graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Delaware in Marketing, and Economics Minor. As a Delaware native, Jennifer strives to better the community through her involvement and volunteerism. Jennifer most notably serves on the Board of Directors for Serviam Girls Academy (’14-Current), past President of Wilmington Women in Business (’13-’15), and Mentor for the Fresh Start Scholarship Foundation (’15-Current). In addition, she serves on several committees; Co-Chair for Serviam’s Evening Under The Stars (’14-’17), Annual Fund and Advancement Committees for Serviam Girls Academy, Piper’s Kidney “Beanefit,” “Callie’s Team” for 2019 Student of the Year for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. In her spare time, Jennifer is set to explore all 60 National Parks with her husband and two sons before 2036.
